Created for the A. J. Jenkins cover song "Wait For It.. It's Complicated", a mashup of the Hamilton Musical's song "Wait For It" and Avril Lavigne's "Complicated".

Jenkins creates a song a week for her channel, and that left four days to create the video. I choose to use Adobe Character Animator to approximate phonemes/visemes.
The background and silhouettes are a representation of the Hamilton Musical promotional poster created with live watercolour and oil brushes in Adobe Fresco, with evolving patterns dynamically created from the audio track in After Effects. Drawings for the lip sync were created with the onion-skin features in Procreate on the iPad Pro.
