Yaletown Mike: Utility Box Mural (with Augmented Reality)
The original sketch for Mike was created in a sketchbook during a Rogue Crows show at the Cottage Bistro (now Hood 29). The Yaletown Business Improvement Association choose the design from submissions provided to the City of Vancouver for their utility box mural program. Apparently Mike has a bit of a following through social media snapshots, and to accentuate the experience, a virtual Mike was created using augmented reality, with music by Alison Jenkins.

Yaletown Mike eventually led the way to the YBIA mural program, and beginning with a series of conversations related to illusory murals the first concept was designated: The Killer Whale Stair Mural.
